Tabs is an adventure seeking dad of 4, for whom cycling has formed an integral part of life for the last 3 years. He started off cycling on a humble singlespeed which has turned into a passion(some say obsession!)for bikepacking. He sees the UDS as an opportunity to prove to himself, his family and community that anything is possible as long as you are brave enough to take that first step, believe in yourself and are willing to ask for help.

Seun has only been cycling since summer 2020 but he’s already figured out that he loves long days in the saddle whilst listening to spotify playlists. Mix that with his razor sharp competitive edge and here we are! He uses cycling as a means to tackle his Type 1 diabetes, whilst also using it as an excuse to eat lots of haribos. He’s a target driven person who’s always looking for a new physical challenge – in fact he only completed his first bikepacking trip a few weeks before applying to the UDS!

Jade is a cycling loving scientist who enjoys all aspects of the outdoors. She is currently a road/commuter cyclist but she never thought she would merge her passions and consider ultra cycling. The ethos of the UDS means a great deal to her and she hopes to use this platform to further amplify the necessity of such schemes and contribute as a tiny cog in the grand scheme of things.
